This transaction has allowed the shareholders of J.D. O’Neil Enterprises Ltd. (operating as Regent Park Pharmacy) (“Regent Park”) to implement their family succession strategy, ensuring the continued success of the business, while also allowing one of the previous shareholders and head pharmacist to continue his employment at the pharmacy.
Regent Park is a pharmacy located in the Regent Park Shopping Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba, that began operating under the previous owners in 1970. The pharmacy has built a strong reputation over its 46 year history within their community and in the city.
Amenity Health Care (“Amenity”) is a network of pharmacies and health care clinics that currently has 23 locations throughout Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Amenity’s mission is to provide patients with integrated health and wellness services close to home and work. Amenity's services are based on bringing together a multidisciplinary health team in support of servicing the patients’ health needs in a timely manner. The company is actively looking to expand its already growing operations.
