Challenge
A construction company was struggling with a time-consuming new construction management software (CMS) tool. The software was difficult to integrate with QuickBooks Online and the client’s payment processing application. Additionally, their bookkeepers were struggling to manage these various systems — resulting in duplicate payments and delayed, incomplete financial information.
Solution
We assessed the client’s situation and worked with them to implement a solution. Our team started by managing the integration of their CMS tool and their payment processing application. Through reviewing their records, we helped the client to identify errors, recover duplicate payments, and improve processes. When the client determined that their current CMS tool did not meet their needs, our team helped them integrate a new CMS tool. This new tool will help streamline billing and year end reporting — mitigating errors and reducing pain points for our client’s management team.
Results
We recovered over $22,000 in duplicate payments for our client by reviewing their past bookkeeping records. Additionally, our team is leveraging the new CMS system to build efficiencies into QuickBooks Online, improve project management, and provide timely financial reporting — giving our client more time to focus on growing their business.
