Zahra is a member of MNP’s Public Company group in Mississauga. Working primarily with public and pre-public small- to medium-sized businesses, Zahra draws on several years of audit experience to help her clients meet their reporting requirements.

Zahra has extensive experience working with TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V) and Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE)-listed companies, as well as other reporting issuers. She also helps clients with complex accounting matters, prospectus filing, and other publicly filed documents. Zahra specializes in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and is very familiar with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) as required by Canadian and U.S. reporting issuers.

Zahra serves as the day-to-day audit project leader responsible for supervising the field audit team and working on critical and significant audit risk areas. She communicates directly with management to ensure each engagement is delivered on time and to the client’s satisfaction.

Zahra graduated from Western University in 2015 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (HBA) from the Ivey Business School and a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Business / Management. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying in 2018. Zahra is a member of MNP’s Peel Region Public Companies Learning Committee.
