Tyler is a Partner with MNP’s Enterprise Risk Services (ERS) team in Halifax, where he leads the development of the firm’s ERS practice coast-to-coast and supports the growth of MNP’s broader advisory practice across the Atlantic provinces.

With more than two decades of combined public accounting and industry experience spanning governance, risk, process, and control, Tyler is a proven collaborative leader who builds strong relationships with boards, management, and operations teams alike. He manages teams of all sizes, engaging them towards significant achievements, confidently addressing challenges at the most senior levels.

Prior to joining MNP, Tyler worked in risk advisory services at two Big 4 firms and served as lead internal auditor at several Canadian public companies.

Tyler earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in 1997 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2002. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in 1999. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Management Consultant (CMC).

Tyler serves as president of The Waegwoltic Club, where he channels his passion for community and leadership during a period of renewal.
