Stephanie is a member of MNP’s Public Companies Group in Waterloo. Stephanie delivers a wide range of audit, advisory, and compliance services to public companies and clients in the financial services sector.

Stephanie draws on close to two decades of experience in public accounting across many industries. She built the foundation of her experience in the Cayman Islands, auditing hedge funds and captive insurance companies.

Her experience includes financial statement audits, internal control testing, specified auditing procedures, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) conversions and reporting, and complex accounting solutions under IFRS and Canadian issuer securities reporting.

Stephanie’s practice focuses on financial services clients —including Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) dealers, exempt market dealers, investment and portfolio managers, funds, fund of funds, and insurance companies — as well as small- to mid-sized public companies and private companies seeking a public listing. Stephanie dedicates a considerable amount of time to helping financial services clients navigate the registration process, annual audits, and compliance and deregistration requirements.

Stephanie earned an Honours Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) from Brock University in 2007. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2008 and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in 2011.
