Ontario Insurance Advisory Leader

Simone is a member of MNP’s Forensics and Litigation Support Services team in Toronto and the firm’s Ontario Insurance Advisory Leader. She partners with clients to deliver comprehensive damage quantification and insurance advisory services, and supports businesses in preparing for, and recovering from a loss.

Simone helps businesses navigate and recover from losses through a variety of tailored services, including insurance claim and damage quantification; loss measurement and business interruption analysis; physical damage, extra expense, and inventory insurance claims; as well as disaster recovery assistance and lost profits calculations for litigation purposes.

Simone provides both insurance advisory related to policy wording and limits, as well as quantification of losses resulting from businesses being unable to operate in their normal capacity. She helps businesses navigate and understand their insurance policies and coverages to help them prepare for and respond to crisis. She takes great pride in providing clients with reasonable and supportable damage quantification calculations.

Prior to joining MNP, Simone established an in-house forensic accounting practice at one of Canada’s largest insurers, and was also an external consultant to both clients and insurers at two of the Big Four, firms focusing on forensic investigations and damage quantification.

Simone earned a Bachelor of Administrative Studies (BAS) from York University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2013. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2016.
