Shawna is a Partner with MNP’s Assurance and Accounting Services team in Grande Prairie. Shawna brings more than two decades of experience in tax, advisory, and estate planning services to her role. She is widely recognized for building strong client relationships, delivering outstanding service and value to her clients, and fostering their growth.

Shawna works with a diverse client base, including businesses in oil and gas, agriculture, construction, engineering, and various professional services, across northern Alberta and British Columbia.

Prior to joining MNP, she served as the director of finance and controller for a regional health authority, as well as the director of financial services for a post-secondary institution.

Shawna graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from the University of Calgary's Haskayne School of Business. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA).

Shawna is deeply passionate about supporting the next generation of accounting professionals. She serves as a mentor and has hosted recruitment seminars at Northwestern Polytechnic, inspiring prospective students to enter the field and contribute to their teams. She is also actively involved in her community, volunteering with local organizations and contributing as a committee member.
