Sean is a member of MNP’s Atlantic Canada Tax and Business Advisory Services team in Dartmouth. Sean specializes in corporate and personal tax planning and annual compliance for private business owners and their families.

With more than a decade of experience, Sean works with business owners across a variety of industries, including professionals and real estate and construction.

Sean completes corporate tax returns for companies with complex tax issues, reorganizes groups of companies for tax or family transition reasons, prepares business owners and their companies for the tax-efficient sale of their businesses, and assists with the due diligence process for clients purchasing businesses. He is experienced in cross-border tax planning and compliance for individuals and Canadian businesses active in the US.

Sean received his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Saint Francis Xavier University in 2012. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2015, and completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program in 2019.

Sean serves on the Golf Nova Scotia board of directors, where he is the past vice-president of finance.
