Ricardo is a Partner with MNP’s Digital Services team, specializing in IT and cyber security managed services. With more than 25 years of international and Canadian experience in information technology and cyber security, he helps organizations enhance operational efficiency, strengthen security, and drive digital transformation. He is committed to helping organizations navigate complex IT and security challenges, leveraging technology to create scalable, resilient, and forward-thinking solutions. 

Ricardo has extensive experience leading managed services teams and security operations, including overseeing security operations centres in Canada and the U.S. 

Prior to joining MNP, he spent seven years at a Canadian-headquartered global IT services and consulting firm, leading its Managed Security and Managed IT Services practices before becoming chief technology officer. In these roles, he developed innovative security and IT service models, optimized delivery frameworks, and implemented technology solutions to support business growth. He led the development of a revolutionary Cyber Security Monitoring and Response service that won Microsoft's 2021 Global Security Partner of the year award.

Ricardo has also worked on large-scale technology programs, including a major submarine development project in Brazil. 

Bilingual in English and Portugese, Ricardo earned a Certificate in Business Administration Information Technology and a Governance Diploma in Information Technology Management from Instituto Infnet in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He holds numerous IT certifications. 

Ricardo volunteers with CivicTech Fredericton, which creates technology solutions for social issues.
