Quinn is a member of MNP’s Valuation and Litigation Support practice. With close to a decade of experience providing valuation services, Quinn works one-on-one with clients in diverse industries to efficiently meet their financial reporting requirements with fair value analyses for purchase price allocations, impairment testing, contingent consideration and holdings in private companies. His intangible asset valuation experience includes the valuation of customer relationships, software, technology, brand, licenses, and non-compete agreements.

Quinn focuses on financial reporting analysis, both as a preparer and reviewer, under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP), for both public and private sector clients.

In addition to valuation for financial reporting, he brings extensive experience in completing valuations of owner-managed businesses to his role, in connection with such purposes as corporate reorganizations, shareholder transactions, strategic planning, and tax and estate planning, among others.

Prior to joining MNP, Quinn worked at a boutique valuation firm in New York City. He has lectured on techniques for the valuation of contingent consideration for both the Chartered Business Valuators Institute and the American Society of Appraisers.

Quinn is a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. He earned a Bachelor of Mathematics (BMath) in computer science from the University of Waterloo in 2004 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from New York University’s Stern School of Business in 2013.
