Phil is a member of MNP’s Enterprise Risk Services Group in Toronto. Phil has more than a decade of experience providing operational resilience, enterprise risk management, corporate compliance, third-party risk management, and governance solutions for organizations across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.

Phil supports his clients in the development of risk management, corporate compliance, and crisis / emergency management programs. He also advises clients on the integration of leading practices and thinking into corporate governance and operations. His ability to adapt and scale allow him to work within a variety of industries, including agriculture, education, municipalities, health, financial services, and energy.

Phil not only delivers high quality risk management deliverables, but also excels at knowledge transfer and forging long-term client relationships.

He is a regular facilitator of training programs for associations, leading sessions for board members and leaders on key principles related to risk management.

Phil earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in political science from the University of Windsor in 2008 and a Master in Disaster and Emergency Management (MDEM) from York University in 2010. He is an Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) from the Disaster Recovery Institute, has attained the Canadian Risk Manager (CRM) certification from the Risk and Insurance Management Society, and holds the Crisis Communications Professional (CCP) certification from the International Consortium for Organizational Resilience.
