Jason is a member of MNP’s Tax Services team in Thunder Bay. With more than two decades of professional experience, Jason provides tax planning and tax-efficient business structuring advice to owner-managed businesses and Indigenous businesses and individuals. He helps First Nation clients (Tribal Councils, First Nations and First Nations owned businesses) establish tax-efficient business structures that incorporate governance and management principles.

Jason draws on more than a decade of experience in international tax matters to coordinate U.S. and international-related tax matters for the Thunder Bay office.

Jason earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from Lakehead University in 1997. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1999) and completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course in 2013. He is a Chartered Tax Advisor, UK (2003).
