Ian Meier, CPA, CA, is a Partner in MNP's Edmonton office. Working closely with his clients, Ian delivers a full range of business advisory, taxation and assurance solutions to help his clients achieve their goals.

A key member of MNP’s Assurance team, Ian serves a wide range of clients in diverse industries, including construction and land development. Committed to his clients’ success, he delivers strong assurance solutions that help them meet their regulatory, financing and governance requirements. With his extensive experience in taxation, Ian also provides effective tax minimizing strategies to ensure his clients pay the least amount of tax possible.

Ian prides himself on his ability to provide the expertise his clients need to effectively manage and improve their business’ performance. Beyond traditional accounting, he delivers customized and cost-effective solutions to help them resolve their most complex business challenges.

Prior to earning his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2006, Ian received his Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge in 2002. He is a member of both the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta (ICAA). Committed to his community, Ian is the past Treasurer of the Paralympic Sports Association.
