Mike Daigle is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Senior Manager in MNP’s Kelowna office. Working with our real estate and construction clients and other business owners, Mike delivers reliable financial information and strong advice to help his clients reach their goals. We caught up with Mike to learn more about him.

Describe your practice and the types of clients you work with.

My primary area of focus is in the real estate and construction sector. I also work with automotive and recreational vehicle dealerships.

What are your clients’ biggest challenges?

One of the biggest challenges my clients face — and they’re not alone — is attracting, retaining, and engaging talented people. That’s been an issue for some time. One of the emerging challenges is economic uncertainty and how to plan when there is less certainty in the market than we have seen in recent years.

What motivates you most in your work?

People, from the clients I work with to our team at MNP. I love the work we do and the opportunities we have to work with and help our clients. There are always going to be challenges in business. But having the chance to build relationships with clients and help them achieve their goals and dreams is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. I am so grateful to be given that opportunity by the people who choose to work with me.

What might someone not know about you?

My wife and I have four daughters. I always love seeing people’s response when I tell them that. For anyone who doesn’t have daughters, they are amazing, and if you’re lucky enough to parent one, consider yourself blessed.
