Edmund is a member of MNP’s Specialty Tax Services team in Langley. Edmund serves private companies and shareholders in a wide range of industries, delivering tailored tax planning and compliance services. He works closely with his clients to understand their needs, and designs and implements solutions that meet both their personal and business objectives.

In public practice for more than 16 years, mainly focused on Canadian tax, he brings abundant experience in tax planning with respect to mergers and acquisitions, business succession, estate planning, and corporate reorganizations, to his role. Prior to joining MNP, Edmund worked at a medium-sized public practice and before that was with a Big 4 firm. He also gained industry experience as an internal corporate tax advisor at a major international bank.

Edmund graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting and finance. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Certified General Accountant (CGA) in 2008.

Edmund has written articles for CPABC in Focus, a magazine that serves as the voice of the accounting profession in B.C. His articles include New Legislation on the Small Business Deduction — Is This the End of Claiming Multiple SBD (Small Business Deduction)? in the magazine’s November-December 2016 issue, and Understanding the proposed EIFEL (Excessive interest and financing expenses limitation) rules in the May 2023 edition.
