Derek Wiebe, CPA, CA, is a General Practitioner and Taxation Specialist in MNP’s Medicine Hat office. Working with small to medium-sized businesses in a number of industries, Derek goes beyond delivering assurance and taxation solutions to help clients plan for the future, manage succession, and use their day-to-day financial information to grow their businesses.

Committed to his clients’ success, Derek prepares financial statements that help clients with everything from making management decisions to securing bank financing. His taxation services include corporate and personal tax return preparation and specialized tax planning designed to help small business owners achieve their personal and business goals.

A trusted advisor, Derek consults with owner-managers of small businesses, using software and various tools to help them develop plans and strategies for success. He is dedicated to helping clients reach their objectives, whether they are looking to achieve wealth management, creditor protection, succession, business growth or a combination of goals.

Derek was designated a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2002 and a Taxation Specialist in 2004. He also has a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge. Derek volunteers with Kidsport.
