David Kirkup, CPA, CA, is a Partner in MNP’s Assurance Services practice. Working out of the Virden office, David delivers speciality tax and assurance services to a variety of industries, including agri-business, oil and gas, and construction, as well as to small businesses, professionals, and high-net-worth individuals.

With a strong tax background, David understands the implications financial decisions can have on his clients and is able to help them understand the short- and long-term consequences of decisions. He gets to know his clients and their operations well, allowing him to provide clear, concise, unbiased opinions that take their unique situations into account and generate the best possible outcome for them.

David partners with his clients, taking the time to ensure they fully understand what their financial statements and indicators mean and how they can be used to plan future success and measure results. Solution-oriented, he understands the stress related to financial issues and is able to calmly establish peace of mind in a timely manner so his clients can keep their focus on their operations.

Designated a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2002, David also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with Honours, from the University of Manitoba.
