David Fitzpatrick CPA, CA, is a Partner with MNP in Thunder Bay. David is a passionate advisor to small- and medium-sized businesses who works closely with business owners and their teams to capitalize on the opportunities of today for a better, more prosperous future.

David is committed to gaining a deep understanding of his clients’ businesses and exceeding client expectations. He is responsible for tax and remuneration planning and oversight of tax filings, working exclusively in the area of domestic tax with a focus on corporate and personal tax planning and corporate restructuring. He also delivers services related to corporate finance, governance and succession planning.

David leads the region in helping clients with the intergenerational transfer of family businesses.

He works with a broad range of owner-managers in a variety of industries, including automotive, professional services, real estate and construction.

David earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from Queen’s University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA), and has completed the CPA In-Depth Tax Course.

Involved in his community, David currently sits as a board member and finance chair for the Thunder Bay Kings AAA Hockey Association.
