A member of MNP’s Assurance and Accounting team in Sudbury, Daryl works closely with his clients to support them in all facets of tax planning and compliance.

With more than two-and-a-half decades in public practice, Daryl speaks, lectures and writes on tax issues specific to small business. He is a session leader for the National Income Tax Practice course for CPA Canada and has served as a seminar leader for the tax component of the provincial School of Accountancy since 2003.

Daryl earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from Laurentian University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1996 and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 1999. In 2011, Daryl received the Award of Distinction from the Institute of Chartered Accountants for his service to the community, the Institute and the profession.

Daryl is dedicated to helping the local community. He has coordinated local chartered accountants to help low-income individuals and seniors prepare their personal income tax returns. He is a Sudbury and District CA Association Executive Committee board member and a past president. He has also served as Treasurer for the Sudbury-Manitoulin Alzheimer’s Society, board member of the North Bay Mattawa Humane Society and Walden Kinsmen Club and Treasurer of the United Way for Northeastern Ontario.
