Candace is a member of MNP’s Audit Services team in southern Manitoba, responsible for managing audit engagements in a wide range of industries and sectors. With a keen understanding of internal controls and audit strategy design, her expertise is in auditing health authorities, school divisions, municipalities, not-for-profit organizations, and credit unions.

With her in-depth understanding of public sector accounting, not-for-profit accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards, Candace is responsible for preparing preliminary planning and developing an audit plan. She also helps teams conducting field work by handling high risk areas of an audit and supervising audit team staff.

Candace brings considerable experience to her role, including several years in the health authority industry. She is experienced in transitions to Public Sector Accounting Board standards in Manitoba with numerous school divisions, municipalities and First Nations; and in transitions to Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and International Financial Reporting Standards.

Candace’s ability to communicate effectively with boards of directors can help with transitions and any challenges that could arise.

Candace is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2003.
