Ian is a Business Advisor with MNP’s Assurance and Accounting Services team in Cornwall. Ian draws on nearly two decades of experience to help clients achieve their business goals and reach new levels of success. As the firm’s Regional Agriculture lead for Eastern Ontario, Ian guides his team while providing specialized solutions for clients based on current industry trends.

Ian grew up on a dairy farm, giving him first-hand experience with the challenges involved in operating an agricultural business. With in-depth knowledge of all government farm support and income programs, he helps clients interested in using these programs make strong business decisions for both their present and future success.

Ian’s services include conducting audits, reviews, and compilations; preparing financial statements; and assisting with corporate and personal tax preparation and compliance. He works with owner-managers in a variety of industries, including agriculture and construction, delivering sound advice and solutions customized to each client’s unique needs.

Ian earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) in accounting from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2007. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2010, and is also a Licensed Public Accountant.
