Ryan Calder, CPA, CA, is a Partner with MNP’s Assurance Services group in Abbotsford. Ryan delivers a full suite of audit, assurance and accounting services to help owner-managed businesses maximize their returns and achieve their unique goals.

Ryan has many years of experience working with organizations of all sizes in a wide variety of industries, including real estate and construction, manufacturing, wholesaling and distribution, auto and equipment dealerships and consulting. He develops trusting one-on-one relationships with clients to better understand their challenges and develop practical solutions.

Ryan’s services include audits, reviews and compilations, as well as yearend corporate and personal tax planning. He also provides guidance on succession planning and advises on all business issues. Ryan takes pride that he is one of the first people his clients call when an issue arises. Ryan has a substantial background in teaching and training, having taught accounting and audit courses for several years at the University of British Columbia and the University of the Fraser Valley, as well as at the CPA Western School of business.

In 2003, Ryan received a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm), with Distinction, from the University of Victoria. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2006. An active believer in community involvement, Ryan sits on the board of directors for the Abbotsford Hospice Society.
