James is a member of MNP’s Assurance and Accounting Services team in Calgary. With more than two decades of experience in both public practice and industry, including international secondments, James helps private enterprise clients ranging from owner-managed businesses to large private companies in the real estate, and construction and manufacturing sectors, minimize challenges and achieve their business goals.
James brings extensive experience conducting assurance engagements for a variety of clients, including private corporations, not-for-profit organizations, and governmental organizations, to his role.
James is a member of MNP’s Regional Assurance Partner group, responsible for internal quality control. Within MNP, he has taught courses on accounting and assurance standards updates and audit strategy and participated in internal quality control reviews.
James earned a Bachelor of Administration (BAdmin) in accounting from the University of Regina in 1998. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA).
