As a member of MNP’s Private Enterprise team in the Calgary region, Darren works closely with his clients to help them achieve ongoing success.
Darren brings extensive familiarity with audit and assurance engagements, as well as accounting and financial reporting, to his role. He has nearly two-and-a-half decades of experience in public practice and served as chief financial officer for a private aviation company for three years. Darren has worked with companies in a variety of sectors and now specializes in the home building, real estate and construction sectors.
Darren earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration – Professional Accounting from Eastern Washington University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1998 (B.C.) and 1999 (Alberta).
Darren previously served as Audit and Financial Committee Chair for the Calgary Telus Convention Centre for almost a decade.
