John Guthrie, CPA, CA, is a Partner and Business Advisor with MNP’s Assurance and Accounting Services group in Brandon. John works one-on-one with primary producers, agri-businesses and manufacturers, delivering a broad range of services and tailored business advice to help them overcome challenges and achieve success.

As an advisor, John takes a hands-on, personalized approach with each client, getting to know the business and developing in-depth understanding of both business and personal goals. This allows him to bring innovative ideas and opportunities customized to the client’s unique needs.

More than a decade of experience has given John the skills and knowledge necessary to not only prepare financial information that helps clients report to stakeholders but also to help clients improve their financial information. With better information, John’s clients are better able to answer questions that are critical to their success and can feel comfortable that they are making good decisions for themselves and their operations.

John is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2003 after receiving a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Manitoba. Active in his community, he has volunteered with Big Brothers and Sisters and Hockey Brandon.
