Edmond is a Partner of MNP’s Specialty Tax Services group in Toronto. With more than a decade of experience, Edmond is a seasoned tax professional who focuses on cross-border and transaction tax advisory services related to mergers and acquisitions.

Edmond brings value to his clients by providing tax-efficient solutions in a pragmatic manner. He advises domestic clients seeking expansion opportunities in Canada and abroad and international clients looking to expand their business into Canada through mergers and acquisitions.

Edmond primarily provides Canadian corporate and international transaction tax services, including buy side and sell side tax due diligence, acquisition structuring, cross-border financing, post-closing integration, and corporate reorganizations. He has a broad range of experience assisting private equity clients and private, public, and multinational companies in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, real estate, life sciences, and technology.

Edmond graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management (BAFM) and a Master of Accounting (MAcc) from the University of Waterloo. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA). He has completed CPA Canada’s In-Depth Tax Program and In-Depth Corporate Reorganization Program.
