Dan Lock, CPA, CA, is a Partner and Business Advisor in MNP’s Port Moody office. Working with small- to mid-size owner-managed businesses, primarily in the auto dealership sector, Dan delivers assurance, advisory and taxation solutions to help clients achieve their business and personal goals.

Dan focuses on building a strong relationship with each client so he understands their business and can provide solutions tailored to address challenges and pursue opportunities. His areas of expertise include accounting, corporate and individual tax and consulting on issues such as sale of business, succession planning, corporate reorganization and foreign compliance reporting. When specialized knowledge is required, he connects clients with the firm’s broad-based expertise.

An entrepreneur at heart, Dan enjoys helping business owners achieve their objectives by ensuring all their filing requirements and business consulting needs are met. He works with clients in a broad range of industries, comfortably meeting their varied compliance reporting requirements and identifying areas within the business that can be adjusted to relieve operational stress, improve internal controls and move the business closer to meeting its goals.

Dan completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Royal Road University and an Accounting diploma at the University of British Columbia. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.
